2017 Weed and Nuisance Abatement Charges to be Collected on the County Tax Assessor's Roll for Fiscal Year 2018-2019 City Manager's Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council take public input; close the public hearing and adopt a Resolution entitled "A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Poway, California, Approving the 2017 Weed and Nuisance Abatement Charges to be Collected on the County Tax Assessor's Roll for Fiscal Year 2018-2019."
Proposed FY 2018-19 Comprehensive Financial Plan and Fiscal Forecast for the General Fund City Manager's Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council/Housing Authority/Successor Agency 1) Receive public input regarding the FY 2018-19 Proposed Comprehensive Financial Plan; 2) Receive the Report of the Budget Review Committee and consider their recommendations; 3) Adopt resolutions authorizing the Comprehensive Financial Plan for FY 2018-19, establishing the updated reserve levels, and approving year-end amendments for Fiscal Year 2017-18; 4) Adopt the City of Poway Position Classification Plan reflecting title changes and reclassifications proposed with the FY 2018-19 Budget including new job specifications for two new proposed job classifications; and 5) Adopt the Revised Salary Schedules for FY 2018-19 that include proposed staffing changes.

Espola Road Safety Improvements Change Order and Project Update City Manager's Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager to approve Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $866,900.44
Mayor and City Councilmember Compensation Adjustments Proposed through an Amendment to Section 2.04.020 of the Poway Municipal Code and a Proposed Increase to the Mayor's Auto Allowance by Resolution City Manager's Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council receive the report and provide direction on: 1) proposed Mayor and City Councilmember salary adjustments, as outlined in the ordinance, which would take effect in January 2019 following the November 2018 General Municipal Election; and 2) a proposed increase to the Mayor's auto allowance, as reflected in the resolution, which would take effect in January 2019.
