Item 3.1 - Public Hearing to Take Input Regarding Criteria for Drawing Voting Districts as Part
of Transition to By-District Elections for City Council Members
City Manager's Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council
receive and discuss public comment regarding the composition of the City's yet to
be formed voting districts pursuant to Elections Code section 1001 O(a)(1 ), and adopt
a resolution setting forth legal criteria for drawing the districts.
