PUBLIC HEARING Public Hearing to Take Input Regarding Draft Voting District Maps and Potential Sequence of District Elections as Part of Transition to By -District Elections for City Council Members City Manager' s Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council receive public comment and discuss the draft voting district maps presented, as well as the potential sequence of the elections for the districts. It is also recommended that the Council select a voting district map and election sequence, and direct staff to return on September 19, 2017 with a draft ordinance adopting district elections ( as well as the selected district map and election sequence) for introduction and first reading.
