PUBLIC HEARINGS: Adoption of the City of Poway's Water Shortage Contingency Plan City Manager's Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council take public input, close the public hearing and adopt the Resolution.
Resolution Confirming and Authorizing Recovery of Costs Incurred to Abate Public Nuisance at 13746 Frame Road City Manager's Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council take public input, close the public hearing and adopt the proposed Resolution confirming the costs incurred in abating public nuisances totaling $6,390, ordering payment, and authorizing recovery of the same, including placement of any uncollected costs on the property tax rolls.
Resolution Adopting an Amendment to the TransNet Local Street Improvement Program List of Projects for Fiscal Years 2020-21 through 2024-25 City Manager's Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council; 1. Take public input, close the public hearing and adopt the Resolution; and 2. Amend the FY 2020-21 Capital Improvement Program Budget to reflect an increase in projected TransNet revenue of $109,000 and appropriate those funds to the Espola Road Safety Improvements (Phase 2) projects STR0001.
STAFF REPORTS: Acceptance of the McCarthy Family Foundation Grant to Support a New Poway Center for the Performing Arts Endowment City Manager's Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Authorize staff to work with the McCarthy Family Foundation to execute an agreement clarifying the financial terms of the grant/endowment; and 2. Approve the attached Resolution formally accepting the McCarthy Family Foundation grant for the PCPA and authorize the City Manager to execute all related documents and appropriate the funds as needed.
Approval for Establishing Guidelines for City Issued Proclamations City Manager's Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council establish guidelines for City issued proclamations that focuses on proclamations that are uniquely Poway and have demonstrated a distinct and direct relevancy to a Poway school, longstanding organization or individual.
