PUBLIC HEARING Adoption of an Ordinance of the City of Poway, California, Amending Poway Municipal Code (PMC) Article III of Chapter 17.26 of Title 17 Inclusionary Housing Requirements City Manager’s Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council take public input; close the public hearing and introduce an Ordinance for first reading by title only, waiving further reading, and schedule adoption for February 20, 2018.
Second Amendment to the Disposition, Development and Loan Agreement for the Villa de Vida Affordable Housing Project and Updated Health and Safety Code Section 33433 Summary Report City Manager’s Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council and the Poway Housing Authority: 1) Approve the second amendment to the Disposition, Development and Loan Agreement for the Villa de Vida project and authorize the Executive Director of the Poway Housing Authority to execute the document; and 2) Hold a public hearing and make specified findings to allow for the disposition of the property in compliance with California Health and Safety Code Section 33433.
A request to consider a rezone from Commercial Neighborhood (CN) zone to Commercial General (CG) zone (ZC 17-003), a conditional use permit to allow vehicle/truck rental services (CUP 17- 018), and a variance to reduce the landscape setback requirement (VAR 18-001) at 14251 Garden Road City Manager’s Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council take public input, close the public hearing and introduce the Ordinance for ZC 17-003 for first reading by title only, waiving further reading, and schedule adoption for February 20, 2018 and approve CUP 17-018 and VAR 18-001 subject to conditions.
Resolution Adopting the Report on City’s Water Quality Relative to Public Health Goals City Manager’s Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council take public input, close the public hearing, and adopt a resolution entitled “A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Poway, California, Adopting the Report on City’s Water Quality Relative to Public Health Goals” and authorize the City Manager to execute any necessary documents.
